A seemingly chance encounter between cat and goat brings some light hearted humor to any room as you contemplate 'Who is the GOAT?' Answers aren't always straight black or white. Sometimes there are grey areas where it suddenly becomes possible for a cat to be the GOAT.
Inspired by Battlestar Galactica key Cylon actor, Tricia Helfer... well... more specifically, her goat Larry, and some random cat from the Freedom Farm where Larry lives with is friend, or maybe brother, Earl, this painting asks a paradoxical question "Who is the GOAT?"
Is it the gray, completely nonplussed, cat who, on behalf of all cats, likely thinks they're the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) - they did win the internet very early on after all?
Or is it the goat, who is an actual goat but no doubt has the attitude to think he is the GOAT on behalf of all goats as well?
I see this as an artwork for anyone who likes to question the world around them, who know that two different things can sometimes be the same, and who also like a bit of fun and whimsy to potentially spark a conversation.
